SR International-Radio Sweden sände i måndags ett intressant program om svengelska.
I programmet, ”Is Swenglish Threatening Swedish?”, intervjuades bland annat Östen Dahl, professor i lingvistik, Ola Karlsson, Språkrådet, och Per-Åke Lindblom, Språkförsvaret.
Så här ser programpresentionen ut:
The Threat of the Swenglish Language
Swedish has been sounding more and more, well … English. In this two-part feature, we'll look at Swenglish from a number of angles. Is it just a cute term for the mixing of two languages, or is there something more sinister brewing around this phenomenon? In part one of the feature, we'll look at why Swenglish, and its cousin Svengelska, has got some Swedes drawing battle lines.
Reporter Brett Ascarelli goes on the hunt to find out just what makes Swenglish so controversial.
